At the Church of the Ascension, we embrace the belief that Christians must be life-long learners, and that our education and formation offerings for adults must have the same or greater emphasis as the effort we put forth for young people. We offer traditional classes, small groups, bible studies, as well as special seasonal and topical opportunities for adults to grow in their understanding of the faith. Some of our Adult Christian Education offerings are ongoing, and people can join in at any time, and some are for a set period of time. These shorter offerings are starting up constantly. In addition, some of our offerings are on Sunday mornings during the Christian Education hour - roughly 9 am - 10am, while others are held during the week. Most of our opportunities are held on our campus or across the street in the Gooden School buildings, but there are a few which are held in the homes of parishioners.
