The Church of the Ascension is located at the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains in the City of Sierra Madre, on the northeast border of Pasadena. The church address is 25 East Laurel Avenue, which is three blocks north of the town's main intersection of Baldwin Avenue and Sierra Madre Boulevard. If you are coming via the 210 Freeway east, get off at the Baldwin Ave. exit and turn left at the bottom of the off ramp; Baldwin will appear to end when you reach the first traffic signal at Foothill Boulevard, but it is simply disjointed. Turn left at the signal, then make the first possible right turn at the next signal you reach, which is where Baldwin resumes. Continue north and past the central business district until you reach the intersection of Baldwin and Laurel.
If you are coming from the 210 west, exit at Baldwin Avenue, and head straight up Baldwin.
