Visitors come to Ascension from all sorts of backgrounds. Some are longtime Episcopalians who are seeking a new parish; some have had involvement with other Christian traditions; and some have never had any formal exposure to the Christian faith. Wherever you may be on your spiritual journey, we welcome you here and would be happy to assist you with your particular needs. On Sunday mornings, street parking in front of the church on Baldwin Avenue is reserved for those with physical disabilities. There is also a small parking lot on Laurel Avenue just east of the Parish House (45 E. Laurel) Printed resources for newcomers may be found in a basket on a table near the church's entrance; our Greeters usually carry them too. We keep a guestbook that we invite you to sign, with space for address and phone. Please be assured that you will not be called unless you ask to be, nor will this information ever be shared or used for the purpose of solicitation. For more information on activities geared toward newcomers, see the "Events" page under the Newcomers menu of this website. For those of you who may be unfamiliar with Christianity or the Episcopal Church and its sometimes puzzling vocabulary, check out the links below to our national church's website:
