A wedding is a joyful occasion, but within the Church it is also a solemn and sacramental act undertaken in the presence of God. At the Church of the Ascension, we ordinarily expect that couples being married in the church will have an ongoing relationship with the parish. If you are planning a wedding and also looking for a church home, we warmly welcome you to come and sample the life of this community. Within the discretion of the Rector, weddings may sometimes be performed for Episcopalians from other parishes.
