Sunday Worship

The worship of God is at the heart of everything we are and everything we do as Christians and members of this parish community. On Sunday mornings, the Eucharist (Holy Communion) is offered twice in distinctive settings. The early service at 8:00 a.m. uses the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer, Rite I, and is relatively simple and short. In the last several years, it has also become the favored service of families with infants and young children, so a lively crowd is always on hand! The 10:15 service is a more formal “high mass” with music, choir, procession and incense. Child care is available in our nursery at both the 8:00 and 10:15 services.

Weekday Services

The Church of the Ascension offers several weekday celebrations of the Holy Eucharist. These small, intimate services are a great way to reconnect with God in a quiet setting in the midst of busy week. Come join us in the morning, at noon or at night, as your schedule permits, and receive the spiritual nourishment of the Lord’s table.
